DeKalb Advertiser...not worth the money

Dekalb Advertiser is a VERY small newspaper. It does have a big vision, but does not focus on that. It instead focuses on the past. It used to be the DeKalb Advertiser focused on local news getting the real story as it happened. However, this wekly newspaper seems to wait a while before publishing a story. I believe the paper is trying to market to older folks.It has been in business at least since the early 80s, and it was better back then. If you are looking for a paper that has local Fort Payne news, as well as a towns nearby, try the Times Journal. Although small, the Times Journal comes out daily, and is much better than the DeKalb Advertiser.
